Product Description

Vegetable oil derivatives such as palm oil, olive oil, coconut oil, and palm kernel oil are commonly utilized as raw materials in the making of bar soap noodles. These soap noodles come in a range of combinations and are employed in the production of all types of bar soaps. The noodles are available commercially in various ratios of the oil, such as 80:20, 70:30, 60:30, and Scrap Foam. The ideal grade for creating high-quality personal hygiene soap bars is the standard soap noodles blend of 80:20 palm oil and palm kernel oil. Uses of soap noodles include creating new toilet soaps, cleaning soaps, and bathing soaps by combining different ratios. It contains a high level of glycerol, which makes the soap harder compared to fatty acid-based soap noodles.

About Laundry Soap Noodles

Soap noodles are used as the primary raw material in the production of laundry soap and toilet soap bars. The remaining materials for the final product depend on individual manufacturers. Laundry soap noodles are used to make economic laundry soap. LSN is more economical than high-quality laundry noodles.

Laundry soaps are made using cheaper palm oils with lower oil content than toilet soaps. Laundry soap noodles are manufactured with kaolin and sodium silicate since these two add the hardness needed in laundry soap noodles. The hardness is vital when making laundry bar soaps.

About Stearic Acid

Stearic acid is a saturated fatty acid that’s waxy and solid. It’s one of the most common saturated fatty acids found in nature after palmitic acid. People usually get stearic acid by obtaining it from fats and oils by saponifying the triglycerides using hot water. The resulting mixture will then be distilled.

You can find stearic acid in abundance in animal fat, cocoa butter, and Shea butter. Commercially, fats high in oleic acid (like palm and soya) may be hydrogenated to convert oleic acid into stearic acid. It’s used in making candles, plastics, dietary supplements, and cosmetics. It is sometimes used as a soap hardener.

Product Description

Palm acid oil (PAO) is a by-product obtained from the alkaline refining of palm oil. It is mainly used for making laundry soaps, biodiesel products, and for producing calcium soaps for animal feed formulations. The properties and composition of PAO may differ according to variations in the palm oil feedstock and the alkaline refining process. Because information on the characteristics of PAO is limited, this investigation aims to establish the properties of this product. Quality and oxidative parameters of 27 samples of PAO were determined. The six parameters analyzed were moisture, free fatty acid content, peroxide value, iodine value, saponification value, and unsaponifiable matter.
